Seekpitch handles personal data about two groups: customers who use Seekpitch, and people at the companies our agent researches and our customers email. This page covers both. If you got an email sent with Seekpitch and want it to stop, jump to “If our agent found you”.
Who we are
Seekpitch ("we", "us") runs seekpitch.com and app.seekpitch.com. For anything in this policy, email hello@seekpitch.com.
If you use Seekpitch
We collect:
- Account details: your email address and, if you sign in with Google or LinkedIn, your name and profile picture from that account.
- Workspace content: your website, Company & facts, campaigns, leads you import, emails, replies and settings.
- Connected accounts: the details needed to send from your mailboxes and, if you connect it, your LinkedIn session. Mailbox passwords and LinkedIn sessions are encrypted at rest.
- Billing: your plan and payment status. Card details go to Dodo Payments and never reach us.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and request logs, used to keep the service secure and working.
We use this to run Seekpitch for you, send you product emails (sign-in codes, alerts, billing notices), give support, prevent abuse and improve the product. The legal bases are our contract with you and our legitimate interest in running a secure service.
Cookies: we only use the cookie that keeps you signed in. No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
If our agent found you
Seekpitch researches companies that might be a good fit for our customers and finds the people there who'd be the right contact. If that's you, we may hold:
- Your name, job title and the company you work for.
- Your work email address and public professional profile links.
- Public information about your company, such as what it does and where it is.
- Emails a Seekpitch customer sent you, and your replies.
This comes from your company's own website, public web search, company databases a customer connects, LinkedIn profiles a customer imports, and lists customers upload. To check whether an email address works, our own verifier asks your company's mail server, without sending you anything.
We use it so a customer can decide whether to contact you, write a relevant business email from their own mailbox, and handle your reply. We rely on legitimate interests: business-to-business outreach that relates to your role. You can object at any time.
To stop it: use the unsubscribe link in any email sent through Seekpitch, or reply with "unsubscribe", and that sender won't email you again. To have your data removed from Seekpitch and blocked from all our customers' outreach, email hello@seekpitch.com from the address in question.
The customer who emailed you decides who to contact and what to send, so they're responsible for their outreach too. You can also contact them directly.
Who helps us process data
We share personal data only with the providers we need to run Seekpitch: hosting, AI models (which don't train on it), email delivery and payments, plus any services you connect yourself. We don't sell personal data. Some providers are in the United States; where the law requires it, transfers are covered by safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Customer account data: while the account is open, and deleted within 30 days after it closes.
- Data about contacts: while it's part of a customer's active work, and deleted within 12 months of last use.
- Opt-outs: we keep the email address and the fact you opted out, so we can keep honouring it.
- Billing records: as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, or to object to or restrict how we use it. Email hello@seekpitch.com and we'll answer within 30 days. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, credentials are encrypted at rest, and access is limited to what's needed to run and support the service. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we'll tell you as the law requires.
Children
Seekpitch is a business tool and isn't meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and email account owners before the change takes effect.
